2010年5月，我随中国国际仲裁法律代表团出访伊朗，与伊朗国际仲裁院签署合作意向书，同当地仲裁界深入交流，结下深厚友谊。伊朗友人热情称赞：中国人了不起，中国人民、中国政府是红龙，不怕美帝国主义！
In May 2010, I visited Iran with the China International Arbitration delegation. We signed a memorandum with the Iranian International Arbitration Center and had deep exchanges. Iranian friends praised China: “The Chinese people are remarkable — a ‘Red Dragon,’ unafraid of the United States!”

负责接待我的伊朗仲裁委员会法学博士，得知我曾在中国空军服役，后成为律师、创办律所，便将我介绍给其父亲。他父亲也曾在美国空军服役，退伍后同样成为律师并开办律所，得知我的相似经历后十分高兴，专程利用早餐时间到我下榻的宾馆与我友好交流、亲切会晤。
The Iranian law PhD who hosted me learned I served in the Chinese Air Force and later became a lawyer. She introduced me to her father, who also served in the U.S. Air Force and became a lawyer. He was delighted by our similar experiences and met me warmly.

如今伊朗遭遇战火，家园与民生深受创伤，我深表关切与痛心。
Today, as Iran suffers from war, I feel deep sorrow and concern.
谨以此文向伊朗朋友们致以牵挂与祈福，愿战火早日停息，伊朗人民早日恢复安宁、重建家园，中伊友谊长存！
I pray for my Iranian friends. May the war end soon, peace return, and China-Iran friendship last forever.
